synopsis

On the night of April 15, 2019, a huge fire broke out in the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, destroying its spiers and shaking the world. Miyuki Arikawa, professor of French at the University of Kamakura, was suddenly called by her friend Yosuke Irasawa 35 years ago. When it was called by him, a rumor according to which the ghost of Sartre had appeared at the church Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The theme of this story is that Miyuki, who had sympathized with Camus, accompanied him on a pilgrimage trip to the countries linked to Sartre, and now the two have retired 35 years later.
