概要
1944年に上演されたアルベール・カミュの三幕ドラマ『誤解』の新訳である。『誤解』はアルジェリアの新聞の雑報で報じられた親族殺人のアルベール・カミュによる解明である。聞き手の誤認に根拠を置く誤解という言葉は、実際には話し手側の誤情報や隠蔽という原因を隠すことがある。「誤解」の世界は単なる親族殺人という事件を超えて、ちょうどサルトルが同年に発表した『出口なし』の示したように、人間社会におけるコミュニケーションの闇をカミュが提示した問題作である。
Voici une nouvelle traduction du drame en trois actes d’Albert Camus, « Le Malentendu », créé en 1944. « Le Malentendu » est l’interprétation par Camus d’un meurtre familial relaté dans un journal algérien. Le terme « malentendu », fondé sur une perception erronée de l’auditeur, peut en réalité masquer la désinformation ou la dissimulation de la part de celui qui parle. L’univers du « Malentendu » dépasse le simple cadre d’un meurtre familial ; c’est une œuvre controversée dans laquelle Camus présente la face sombre de la communication au sein de la société humaine, à l’instar de Sartre dans « Huis clos », publié la même année.
This is a new translation of Albert Camus’ three-act drama “The Misunderstanding," which was performed in 1944. “The Misunderstanding" is Albert Camus’s interpretation of a family murder reported in the Algerian newspaper. The term “misunderstanding," which is based on a misperception on the part of the listener, can actually hide the cause of misinformation or concealment on the part of the speaker. The world of “The Misunderstanding" goes beyond the simple case of family murder; it is a controversial work in which Camus presents the dark side of communication in human society, just as Sartre did in “No Exit," published in the same year.
