Alexandre Dumas was also an author of travel guides. “The South of France" from Fontainebleau to Marseille, published in 1841, is one of the works intended for a new travel diary. It is one of the series of travel prints comprising 31 chapters which presents the South of France, where the ruins of Rome remain more than Rome. This book presents the South of France, which is full of anecdotes from writers, painters and researchers from the same period.
